I am also trying to taper off of clonazepam. I have been taking 1mg a day for the past year and I am afraid of the side effects. I will begin after I have finished tapering the 50 mg of quetiapine xr. From what I have read this is a difficult drug to taper ,

When did you start your tapering off? There is a lot of good information in this group but remember to be cautious and always follow advice from your physician on tapering off any medication.
Have you suffered any of the side effects yet?
