What was your experience on Kevzara?

You’re not the first. I’ve read that can happen. My first time was in January 2026, so I took it late in the day. One hour before bed. I was fine during that hour and had no problem falling to sleep. I figured if it made me tired, it would be best to take at bedtime. Worst case scenario, I’d die in my sleep.
(Sort of just kidding)
The next day I felt fine.
I still take it in the evening, 12 injections later, just in case. I am tapering off, so the last 2 injections were 3 weeks apart instead of the normal 2 weeks.
I’ve had days like that but not Kevzara related and I always reflect back on the past few prior to it. I ask myself if I’m certain that you had done nothing differently the day before? Physically, foods, supplements, snacks, bed time?
Have you been around a lot of people, germs?
Good luck with it. Wish good health to you. Let us know if you rebound.

I pay pretty good attention as to what I have done on previous days. For the last three months since starting Kevzara I have noticed not so pleasant reactions for a few days after the injection. This time just seems worse, but my PMR fatigue has been worse lately though. Also since starting the injections my skin, esp. back, has been breaking out and itching terribly. My Dr. didn't seem to be worried per messaging. I see him in one month, the last of my four month experiment, guinea pig, with the injections. I am still on 7 mg of prednisone daily, and just doing my best to figure out a way to alleviate this misery. Caught your sleeping comment, a testament as to just how brutal this disease and its treatment can be. Thanks and be well.
