@bluesky6321 This is very interesting, thank you. The fog/cognitive issues have moved to #1 for me since I was used to multitasking 24/7 before.

Do you mind if I ask what area you live in and what type of place you looked at for speech therapy for this?

@thedreamingtree It was my primary care doctor who referred me to speech therapy, not a specialty long covid clinic! And the speech therapy is the standard rehab facility at my local hospital. I have been very thankful for how much this one unexpected thing has helped. It was not something that came up as a suggestion when I was googling for long covid help.

I know many healthcare professionals don't know how to help people with long covid even when they want to help. A referral to speech therapy (or physical therapy or occupational therapy) to follow standard concussion protocols is maybe something more clinicians are familiar with and easier to ask for and get a referral for.
