Welcome to Mayo Connect. I have been a patient at St Mary's multiple times this year. Found the rooms adequate. They are all singles and have private bathrooms. The ones I was in did not have a coach/bed combination, and there was no recliner I would want to sleep on. There might be an option for a roll-away bed, depending on the size of the room and if OK with nurses.

Is there a reason you think someone needs to stay with you overnight?

I am updating the previous post. I have a friend in St Mary's right now, and his room did have a pull-out sofa. So the furniture will vary by room. His room is much bigger than the room I was in. He is in a different building at St Mary's.

@roch July 2022 I had a single. Loved the big window, watched the helicopters coming with people? organs for transplant? several times a day. I thought the rooms were rather large, private bath, comfortable chair for day sitting. No roll away bed, husband stayed at hotel 0.2/5-minute walk away and I was awake and aware from the time I was brought there from ICU/Recovery.
