@heisenberg34 In my experience, any other pain issues I have (bursitis, arthritis, etc.) are amplified by neuropathy. If those issues can be identified, steroid shots or other localized pain management techniques can be very helpful. My wife has severe lower back pain, and she gets a nerve ablation every six months, which helps a lot. As far as exercise goes, walking a mile or two every day I can works best for me, as I also have exercise resistance and dysautonomia that kick in if I get my heart rate up too much (100+ bpm). If you can't reduce your pain enough while walking to be tolerable, swimming is probably your best option if you have access to a pool. It takes the weight load off your lower back and legs. I have even seen people walking in a pool.

@ronvt Thanks for your response. We do have a pool in our development. I'm not sure that I'm brave enough to show up in my swim suit. I don't want any of the ladies to swoon at the sight of my rippling physique. LOL.
