Since my posts upthread some time ago, my mom broke her arm went into a nursing home. She got a Foley catheter due to her almost constant urine leakage. She has seen a urologist who deems her not a surgery candidate. So, he says the catheter is a good option for her condition. It allows her to get rest at night and to keep her skin dry. Her health is much better as the constant urination was causing emotional distress too. So, though she does get UTIs, it’s the most viable option for now.
