@elainep Dr S was my guy while I was living in MN. He did a fine job with my decompression surgery. He offered T10-S1 fusion at that time but I have needed to work myself up to it. I would have been better to do this at that time.

Getting any major surgery is such an intimidating decision….always wondering if it will make things worse in the long run!
I knew my window of opportunity with losing the flexibility of my spine with each year of age was looming over me….so I decided to jump in the “deep end” and just get this done. Wish I had done this earlier as well…perhaps my spine would have now been even straighter! But, I did not have the opportunity to work with Mayo Clinic before now.
No regrets now. Dr. S. & his team are awesome. ….as is all the staff I have met at Mayo. First class treatment, for sure.
