I wonder about this too. I had a rare, aggressive leukemia and an unrelated breast cancer at the same time in 2023-24. After a 5+wk hospitalization I had another 9+mo out patient chemo treatment, 3 breast surgeries, and radiation. It was complicated and intense but I am cancer free. I’m also left with a string of health problems that now include a terrible case of PMR since early February that is not responding to treatment. I’d love to know if there is a connection but I’m not finding a lot of information either. I’m being told my situation was and continues to be so unusual, they just don’t have the data. I’ve told them to study me. Make a research project out of me. Maybe it will help the next person if they can figure my case out.

@dianne327 thank you for responding. Looks like not many in this group have had our experience with chemo and PMR. I hope they can find something that helps us both to be able to resume some semblance of pain free normal life routines. Best of luck to you moving forward. The only thing we can do is live one day at a time and find something beautiful in that day and hope for a better tomorrow. Best wishes moving forward.
