@cubeth77, the watch and wait treatment can be very unnerving. I'm glad that you have chosen to seek a second opinion for peace of mind.
It is possible that the new neurosurgeon will also suggest waiting for the next MRI. For small lesions, it is not uncommon to monitor as a treatment. I recommend preparing a list of questions for your second opinion appointment and share your concerns about the watch and wait approach. I would ask questions like:
- What are the risks of radiating the lesions?
- What are the risks and benefits of monitoring only?
- Are there other treatment options besides watch and wait?
What questions would you add?

@colleenyoung - The radiation oncologist told me months it would be monitored but its almost a year. Have you heard of anyone else who is monitored this long?
