You will know when and if you need a knee replacement. I walk with a broken partial knee replacement for 6-7 years. One day I decided enough is enough and I had to have it done. Weigh the cost of where you are know and where you may be after. Not all replacements are bad. Wish you the best

I’m just nervous as ‘if’ something goes wrong as I’m a very active person so I’d hate to be stuck home everyday and all day

I don’t know where you are but zero cost for knee replacement surgery here in Australia through what’s called the public health system. You pay zero, it’s all covered by the government.
There is also top tier private health, then you can choose the surgeon and hospital, as for the everyday public person you get assigned a surgeon and hospital and lucky so far I’ve been assigned a very good hospital and the surgeon has great reviews so hopefully I’ll be lucky and get a good outcome but definitely worried a bit. I’ll know in 10 days, then I’m in for months of pain and dedication to getting back in action
