Inhale that problem with Anastrazole. Was on it for 9 months before he took me off because of the pain. Started exemestane and didn’t have problems with pain but weight gain, severe exhaustion/fatigue followed by insomnia. Also saw elevations in bp and heart rate - trouble even walking a mile without heart rate up in the 150-170 range. Also severe arthritic symptoms on both hands. Didn’t realize it was due to the exemestane till he took me off for a month. I stretched it to my weeks because it took a month to feel better. Restarted it and problems started back up so off gain and just started letrozole. My problems so far is that the side effects are mild to moderate, not incapacitating (for which I am thankful) but just persistent and cumulative the longer I’m on meds. Only been on this one for 5 days so just wait and see right now. Tamoxifen is next if can’t take this one. So definitely ask about a different med as everyone responds differently to each of them. May be lucky with one of the others.

@mistymar If you do have to go on Tamoxifen, please share your results. I'm thinking of doing that too.. I don't know how much longer I can stay on this drug. Side effects are debilitating and I'm 10 pounds heavier too.
