@susanejw - The psychiatrist I was seeing at the time switched me to buproprion (Wellbutrin), for two reasons: to get rid of the flat affect with no high highs as well as no low lows, and to avoid the weight gain I experienced on citalopram (Celexa).

@lisalucier I didn’t want to try the one she was going to switch me to because something similar made me nauseous. So then my doc wanted to increase the Sertraline (an SSRI), but it gave me the runs. I think I’ll just live with the way I am rather than keep trying different meds. I have some ups, not all downs. 🙃
