I have asthma, pseudomonas. and bronchiectisis. The pseudomonas have become resistance gentamycin, Toby and any oral meds I've used in past. Now I have get to get infusions when I have flare ups. It's very difficult to the stuff out of my lungs when having a flareup. I use an inversion board, an acapella( which doesn't seem to do much) and someti.es bending at waist. I didn't want to have any other suggestions that I might try

@vstankie This disease has a double layer of cruelty. Giving us this thick mucus and then making it so difficult to expel. Presuming you use Mucus thinners. Do you have a vibrating vest? If not, get a percussion massager for muscles, one with a long enough handle to vibrate against your back. I do 20" on the vest, then I still have to use that massager to get the mucus to shift.

@vstankie I find that after nebulizing saline and huff coughing, lying flat on the bed or floor and putting some kind of bolster or pillow under my hips so that I am at an incline works for me. It might take a-few minutes just relax and do some deep breathing. I find this very effective in moving the mucus up and out.
