@gravity3 I started Evenity last August and had 4 injections. I had to stop because I had really bad allergic site reactions and my rheumatologist was concerned, as was my dermatologist, that I could have a systemic reaction with the 5th injection. I then went on Evista instead of Tymlos because I was too scared of the needles, which turned out to be no problem for me. I have a history of GERD, and the Evista gave me a really bad flare to point that I needed an EGD to rule out an ulcer. I then went on Tymlos and my doctor gave me several samples. Actually did fine on it and like it except for the issue mentioned before. My Medicare Part D won't cover it and I'd have to switch to Forteo at a cost of almost $500 per month. Plus I want to start traveling and don't want to mess with a med that requires refrigeration. My doctor is concerned about switching meds back and forth and cumulative side effects so we're going to try Evenity again with lots of Benedryl this time to see what happens. Fingers crossed. He has recommended Reclast as next step but I need some quick gains at this point.
