Yes, lateral lower leg pain can occur w/glut medius/minimus tendon tears. I had that before doing shock therapy.

@spillihped I actually went to my hip surgeon and he said that swelling and pain I have in the muscle next to my shin is probably from the way I was walking from the tears. Going to have an MRI of my knee and shin area to see what’s going on, it’s swollen and painful.

I truly hope that my surgeon will recommend using it just to try it. I had one prp injection.
I'm unsure which treatment would help with my type of gluteal median tear. There is a chiropractor in my area that offers it. 100.00/1 application. Are you still doing physical therapy in office or at home regularly? Did you have an acute injury or just wear and tear. I am 61 and all my joints are falling apart.
