@colleenyoung Allow me to update my concurrent chemo and radiation treatment results. I am around 10 weeks post treatment and dealing with pneumonitis. The symptoms started with dry cough and shortness of breath. I am on 60 mg of prednisone and the cough is all but gone but the shortness of breath is still with me. My O2 saturation remains OK at rest 99-95 but when I walk outside or exert myself it drops to 90 or dangerously lower. So, no exertion or walking outside. I’m scheduled to see a pulmonologist on 7/24.
BTW, pneumonitis can be aside effect of this combo therapy and if untreated can lead to permanent fibrosis.
I’ll update as symptoms change.
