@vostie Hi. I'm no medical professional, but I do have a family member who was prescribed 40,000 IU/day and now her body reacts with inflammation any time she attempts a lower dose. Do be careful.

@dkkco Thanks so much...so far, I can start and stop without problems...but when I am on the vitamin D, it lets me sleep which has been a blessing. My doc is watching my levels which are still very low. One of the docs I work with is seeing this low vitamin d problem in other long covid patients as well.
