@crazy123 I know sometimes it's hard to hear an answer like that, but I can tell you, Dr. Fogelson is being honest in giving a medical opinion. Surgeries can make a patient worse and there may be an unreasonable amount of risk involved. You always can check later if your symptoms get worse, but do be cautious in asking because you won't change a doctor's opinion by just resubmitting the same question. If your situation changes, then resubmitting would be acceptable. Sometimes it really is better to avoid surgery and perhaps do physical therapy instead. An answer like that doesn't invalidate your problem, it's just that intervention may not be right at this time. For every patient, that is how he approaches it to consider if he can do something that would improve a patient's health or function.
