I'm not sure about a "ful thinkness" tear, but I have a "high grade tear" of my glut medius tendon and a less severe tear of my glut minimus, plus hamstring tendon tears and a partial labral tear. A few weeks after my first set of shock therapy treatments, I could walk on flat surfaces well, and after my second set (5 months after the first), I could walk stairs and hills easily. It's worth trying - or at least being evaluated for that.

Wow thats great news. My first mri was sept 25 that showed the gluteal median tear
Last month i had my second mri to see if anything has changed. I had prp injection april 27th. How long did you have the pain and the diagnosis before you got the treatments? I worry mine has been chronic 10-11 months now. I do pt every day
