@beebe My stomach doesn't get upset, so I used ChatGPT to see if it had recommendations and here's what I got:
If IP6 Gold with inositol upsets your stomach, there are a few approaches you can try:
Wait until your stomach has settled after a meal, then take it 2–3 hours later, when your stomach is relatively empty but less likely to be irritated.
Start with a lower dose, such as 1 capsule once or twice a day, then gradually increase to the recommended dose if you tolerate it well.
Take it with plenty of water.
A very small amount of food (avoid fat) may be a reasonable compromise. Options include a slice of plain toast, a few crackers, a small serving of applesauce, half a banana, a small portion of plain oatmeal (made with water). AVOID dairy products (milk, yogurt, cheese), since they're high in calcium. DO NOT take with meals or supplements high in iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc because IP6 binds with minerals.
Avoid taking it alongside other supplements or medications that can also irritate your stomach.
Because you're taking it to help reduce the risk of endometrial cancer recurrence, remember that evidence is still limited.
@inquirer
Thanks for doing some research for me, all of the suggestions are helpful and I will try them out. Don't know why I did not think of checking with ChatGPT myself! My guess is I did not take it with a lot of water, just a couple of sips, so that would have made the supplement too concentrated in my gut.
Thanks again for your help!
