@naturegirl5 Not so great or as close as I’d like..I’ve been defined to my children and their spouses by my ex-husband..he managed to turn my battle with cancer into a battle with him and his incompetency. Luckily, they’re all smart, and have figured him out..now it’s just the standard sympathy and loyalty games. He was never on my side, according to my Drs, Church, and friends. Be sure that your support circle includes your spouse and children, and don’t be afraid to ASK your Drs, Church, and friends to speak to them on your behalf. Right prevails, but may take years..so get everyone on board without sharing the scary details. ‘Momma has a bobo, and needs to rest’ was not enough.
