I am three years post surgery and still suffer often with reflux and aspiration of the acid. currently sitting suffering with throat nose and lungs on fire. When I get this, a couple of times a month, I take hydro morphone and still suffer for a few hours before I can sleep again. I sleep on a 40 degree angle. I lost 25 percent of body mass but have put back on ten pounds in last year. any suggestions? Thanks, John

Hi John,
I’m 5 years post surgery.
Sounds like you have way too much acid. Especially if you need to be at 40 degrees 3.5 years out. You didn’t mention what you’re doing for acid prevention?
I take 30 mg of Lansoprazole (prevacid) daily. It keeps my acid under control.
