Dang it! I've been trying to tell my doctors, but they're not listening. I was sick for 5 weeks in October last year (2025) when I finally went to the ER, dehydrated, starving, and having serious tremors. Doctor kept trying to admit me to their alcohol detox ward. Finally he gave me a bag of saline solution, a bottle of Gatorade, and wished me luck. I . He didn't even seem to believe I had a virus for the first 20 minutes.
This week I made an appointment with another doctor who admitted that she really didn't know anything about COVID or the long aftereffects. Then they criticize you for relying on Google for information.
I started a new job as a cook a few weeks ago. I thought I was up for it as I have been back to work since mid December, but the high stress of it; caused what were mild occasional tremors to become severe. I had to quit the job. It's subsiding a bit now, but not by much..
This is so frustrating, especially when you need to work and you don't qualify for disability help because it's supposedly not a permanent condition, and you're stuck in a system not really interested in helping.
All total, I was sick for 8 weeks, took 4 more weeks to recover enough to work, and now been unemployed for another month. Out of 9 months, I've only been able to work for 5. But I don't qualify for assistance. Go figure.
Best of luck to you.

@mountainmarge The doctor you saw must be living under a rock if they don’t know what Covid or Long Covid is!! I’m appalled! This sounds skeptical Mountainmarge!
