I don't know where you live: city and state, and how far you may live from a city with a university-based, teaching medical center that has a well-respected prostate cancer team, but...please find one. You deserve timely responses to your calls and questions. Your husband's physician has breached his ethical duty to communicate with you in a complete and timely manner. (S)he no longer deserves your husband as a patient. Find that university-based , teaching medical center and establish a relationship that you and your husband are deserving of. Good luck to you and your husband.

@rlpostrp This! But moving along can be scary. There can be anxiety associated with moving along from a care provider, maybe one with whom you've worked and had a relationship (however flawed) for years. But everything a new provider would need to know is available to that new provider, and frankly, there is not likely to be any nuance that can't be found in the numbers and history of your diagnosis and treatment. Even if there is such a nuance, such things are always open to re-interpretation. (Maybe a new look is in order?) And if you live in an area where such a change means a few hours of driving time, it's worth it.
