Forgot to take my pills this morning

@dadcue Super helpful. At day 25, I can report that my early morning 15 mg of prednisone does indeed last me a full 24 hours. The first couple of weeks I had some AM shoulder and hip stiffness, which had me reaching for the Vitamin I, but that is currently gone. My stability has improved dramatically; somehow my ankles have loosened up (I wasn't aware they were restricted).

I've seen a massage therapist three times to rehab the injured left shoulder (and give an assist to the underused other shoulder). The MT and home PT that had done literally nothing to help for a year has now got my shoulders pain free with ever-increasing range of motion and strength.

I'm losing weight with ease (which is key for me). The absence of pain and the prednisone boost make it so easy to stay on plan.

I'm going to enjoy these last five-ish days of 15 mg.

After that...I've got my plan ready to go. Don't know what I would have done without the wealth of experience presented on this board.

What plan do you have that is ready to go?

There is no single plan that works for everyone. Your plan has to be flexible and easy to revise. It also depends on your dose. Being on 15 mg per day is different than when you get down to 5 mg per day. You might need to adjust your plan as you taper lower.
