It is so sad this happens, especially when you don't realize at first what is happening to you (you don't understand that people could do this). I was never really bullied before (maybe slightly in grade school). I got along with a majority of people and had many friends. I am sorry for what your family went through; it is a mean behavior. The bullies actually have low self esteem. Older bullies are worse. They calculate their moves. I studied bullying when this happened to me. There are so many tactics workplace bullies use and they enjoy it. Some are called psychopaths. They are the ones who are sick. Before I left work, I told each bully that I forgave them; one cried. I could never live with myself if I did that. Yes, the pecking order will continue forever - just like chickens! I feel that the bullies eventually will have their day; I have seen that happen to a lot of mean people. I also believe in home schooling. My daughter is almost 40. When she was young, I believe not many people home schooled. Now, it is very popular and the home-schooled children get together. This is much healthier, but it is also sad that they can't experience a positive school experience without fear.
