@lisalucier Well that was a roller coaster of a story. Horrifying! I was hoping to try tirzepatide but not anymore. Are you saying stay away from semaglutide but something different is okay?

@catherine1290 - I think that semaglutide/ Wegovy and tirzepatide/Zepbound are FDA approved and fine to try with a provider's guidance. I would just suggest from my own experience to see if your provider is willing to individualize your program, most important of which is to keep you on the same dose for an extra month or longer till your body has stopped having significant side effects and is accustomed to each dose.

A couple of friends of my husband and I have seen great success with tirzepatide/Zepbound.

Do you think your provider would be willing to tailor your program with with weight loss shots to how your body responds as you go? Are you okay with dealing with some side effects if they go away with taking a certain dosage for more than one month?
