Just found out I have osteoporosis in left hip. Don't want to take expensive meds so am wondering what supplements have help improve bone loss.

I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying that you do not have health insurance to cover or help with the cost of those meds? Or is it something else?

@joglow If you type "osteoporosis supplements" in the Search box at the top of the screen you will find many results where this topic is discussed in other Discussions.

What does your doctor recommend for medication? For supplements?

meds

I just listened to a webinar by Kevin Ellis. Have any of you used his products

@joglow,
my personal bias is that these gentlemen selling minerals and vitamins for osteoporosis are making a lot of money from a vulnerable population. I listen to the videos, but prefer to find the supplemental ingredients they recommend with more moderate pricing.
I find Ellis, McCormick and especially Lucas intelligent and compelling. https://www.youtube.com/watch
I take vitamin k2, d3, low dose calcium, magnesium orotate. Adequate protein intake is important for bones. You might consider strontium citrate.
But I also take Forteo. It's possible that you would qualify for $80 pens with RXAdvocates if you decided to take my favorite drug, Forteo https://therxadvocates.com/
