Is it your neck or your back? When you shop for groceries, do you lean forward on the shopping cart as you walk around the store? They call that shopping cart sign and is usually caused by stenosis in the back.
Sign of getting really old. I also have severe hand cramping. I went to a hand surgeon I had used before for my son and who does a lot of professional athletes and he took one look at the nerve conduction study and x-rays and declared that I needed surgery in both arms on both the upper and lower parts and would need to have general anesthesia for it. I am terrified of general anesthesia.
I went to my Neurologist and he studied the nerve conduction test results and he thinks that I can skip the Ulnar nerve. But he thinks the world of a surgeon at Mayo -- Shelley Noland. So I have an appointment with her in a month. Fingers crossed (pun intended).
