@oknowwhatpixie There are some informed discussions on this that you may want to see that include research/article links.

Here is a great post by @kathleen1314 who has been researching and taking strontium for a long time.

I have read over 20 articles/videos/research papers & abstracts and IMHO strontium is complicated. I have also commented in the discussion with the referenced post above.

@kfhoz
I'm a retired R.N. and worked my last 10 years in the alternative/ complimentary field. Meaning we used natural vitamins and supplements to treat conditions.

I developed osteopenia around age 70 and started on the regimen that we gave our patients.
It was a package that Xymogen, one of our suppliers had put together with good results. In 2001 I tried the oral pill and it made me like a zombe. I couldn't think and had no energy to do anything. I only took it for 10 days and gave up on that. I continued tinkering around with my suppliments. The Dr strongly suggested I take the infusion. Which I did. That did the same thing. Wacked me out for 6-8 weeks. So That was the last of that.
. Last April I had a Dexa scan and it indicated I hac very severe ostioporsis.
I didn't stick with that program and now have severe osteoporosis. I was advised to take
and IV medication. I was not going to give another try for another drug. I found a company that has done research with their program and it includes Strontium. It's simple and only 3 products. AlgaeCal is the name of the company and they back their products up by saying they will give your money back if you don't increase your bone density. Their products are 3rd party tested also. So I started that in December 2025. I had another Dexa this April only 4 1/2 months after starting their program. I had a 27% increase in the lumbar spine. If it can do that in 4 months I can't wait to see what it will do by next April.
I suggest you go to their website and read all their info and even call and talk to them. They are very helpful.
