Wow, it is now July first and since my last post I have increased in bone fractures from the SBRT radiation treatments. The 7th, then the 6th, and about two months ago the 5th fracture. Recently had an xray which stated that the 5th rib fracture is showing increased displacement and not much ongoing healing of these. It has been over a year now that I have been having serious pain with these fractures. Up and down all night long icing due to the pain that wakes me up. My radiation treatments were back in 2023 and it was two years before the fractures happened. Doctor says we have patience and give it time. When I try to lay down at night, it feels like a round hot searing plate against my back, with hundreds of burning pins radiating toward the front area of treatment.
I don't wish this on anyone....!

@chrispie , Thanks for sharing your update. Ouch!, this sounds so painful. is the only solution to rest? Is there anything that can help with this pain and healing?
