I’m 80… I know everybody ages, but I’ve always been active. I don’t run or belong to gym but I’ve never been a couch potato… my lake we just started a month after I started taking the Eliquis and compared to this time last year. I have so much weaker in my legs. Other than that I think I feel pretty good most of the time.

I stopped the statin within a few weeks of starting and I noticed the change in muscle weakness within a few days. I wonder if it will take longer to recover if you've taken a statin for months or even years? I realize this is only my experience and everyone is different. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I am not sure but I typically hear it takes at least 30 days to notice relief from statins. Others may have different experiences. It may help you to try calling your doctor again for their guidance.
