So, his doctor diagnosed him but no follow up regarding meds? Maybe you need a specialist or different doctor who knows more about Alzheimers.
Wouldn't hurt to call the Alzheimers Association for some advice, if you aren't satisfied with where you left things with his doctor.
I am finding that I really have to push and advocate for any supports for my husband with dementia.
I think a lot of regular doctors just don't have the training to guide us, and that's when I feel on my own and turn to this blog.
