Good morning all. This week Medicare will begin to cover the cost of prescription GLP-1 drugs [weight loss] at a cost of $50.00 a month, with some preconditions. There has been some preliminary reports that these medications reduce neuropathic pain and reduce nerve inflammation. Other reports indicate the exact opposite, that the medications actually worsen symptoms. Anyone have any direct knowledge either way? All replies welcomed.

@rick1959 I have been on GLP 1 since mid June. I have lost about 13 lbs. I have not notice any real change in neuropathy symptoms. My symptoms varied to some extent every day before I started GLP 1.
