Risedronate side effects

In addition to the leg and ankle weakness and unsteadiness that may or may not be related to an inner problem, I have begun to have pain in my feet. It's like I'm walking on marbles. There is also a very slight tingling. I've purchased new, expensive, tennis shoes, but they haven't helped. My knees also hurt when I kneel on the floor. This is all new to me. I've been on Risedronate for about three months. My next step is to see my doctor as soon as possible and try to go off of this medication. I would like to hear from others who may have had similar problems. I'm also interested in any discussion about any difficulties in going of this med.

I've been on Risedronate for a few months and also experience weird tingling sensations in my feet and arms. It's very random. And, yes, my feet are also overly sensitive. And my knees hurt when kneeling, getting up, walking up stairs.
In July I'm doing a trial of stopping it for 3 weeks. My doctor and I will know at that point if it's Risedronate and I will stop taking it if all suddenly returns to normal. Hope that helps.

Thank you for sharing. I’ve had the same experiences with my knee. I also felt weakness in my thigh and hip. I stopped taking it about a month ago and started to feel less and less pain/weakness.
I had X-rays and PT which helped some but not much. Still in slit of pain.
