I had surgery in. 2020. The recovery was a little rough. It took about a week before I could venture upstairs to get a bath. My surgeon said he would not do the second foot until it was needed as he could not guarantee it would eliminate pain—which I DID NOT have in the second foot. I used a walker while casted and wrapped with my husband behind me to assure I didnt fall, which almost happened a couple times. Then into a walking boot and it was all good from there. I had an excellent surgeon in Columbus, Ohio.
