Appreciate the caution! Expect that I will be in some pain. Am more worried about the swelling in my right leg than I am about anything else. You are right, it can be very dangerous. This is day two, and I really don't hurt more than I always hurt.
Also, am flying to Kentucky soon and don't want to be dealing with swollen legs on the flight. Was just glad that I spoke with my cousin and found out that the swelling might be a side effect of the patches. I do have an appointment with my primary care doctor this Monday for all the good that will do. Am not satisfied with my care for a while now.
One thing I know for a fact is that you should never, ever go cold turkey off of alcohol! I had two friends who were, for a better word, alcoholics who went cold turkey because people were trying to get them to quit drinking. They both passed away in the process.
