What kind of recovery can expected after HoLEP at age of 72

I had holep procedure 3 months ago. Post surgery my perineum area had a painful burning sensation. Making it difficult to sit. I still have it today and started spot bleeding again. Dr. says I am taking a long time to heal. Anyone else have a similar experience?

@ctsenior46 I don't think you should have any bleeding at this point from the HoLEP. You could have bladder stones, stricture or something else going on? I also had the pain sitting after my procedure. Right at the 3 month point it went away, so be patient. The prostate and rectum are innervated by the same nerve and I think HoLEP can injure/irritate it.
