RFA, radio frequency ablation. They use radio frequency to burn off 3 microns of barretts skin, then you keep the acid off and the normal skin to grow back.
I had the surgery on the 12th, stayed overnight. Since leaving the hospital, I haven’t had to use pain, nausea, or antacid medication. I am very satisfied that this procedure was right for me. Also, had a hiatal hernia repaired.

I live in Las Vegas. I had the procedure done at USC when Mayo turned me down as a patient. Dr. Lipham did the procedure. See YouTube video of him and the LINX.
I had the linx done last August and got no relief . I'm now being told "it slipped ". My doctor said it could possibly be tightened, a second option is saying take it out ..i see the surgeon on the Sept 12th ...
I had the LINX procedure and a hiatal hernia repair ten days ago. No pain, no nausea, and no need for antacids since. Getting used to swallowing, a little tight but if I chew well, no problem. Had it done at USC BY Dr. Lipham. He has a YouTube video.

I will be having the LINX put in two weeks from now and a hiatal hernia repair. I’ll be happy to share my experience.

Hello Bill
Can you explain what RFA treatments are?

I'm so pleased that everything went so well for you and that you can see the benefits of the surgery. That is just great. I do appreciate your update!
Did you have the surgery done at a hospital near you? Was the doctor a specialist in this type of procedure?
I live in Las Vegas. I had the procedure done at USC when Mayo turned me down as a patient. Dr. Lipham did the procedure. See YouTube video of him and the LINX.

I understand the LINX can be removed or adjusted.
