Anyone experience mood swings and nervousness with Anastrozole?

I too have the exact experience except no chemo only radiation. The hormone blocker has me befuddled. My Dr tried putting me on memetine ( a med used for dementia and Alzheimer's). It made me hurt all over and experience restless , even more confused. I am goin to stop it at my next appt
I am convinced the hormone blocker anastrozole is the culprit. I need it for atleast 5 years . But no more additional meds. I was better off before with just anastrozole

@green1 this is part of my problem. What I refer to as “circular medicine”. I have this problem which is a side effect to the medication I need to be on. So they want to put me on another medication to treat these side effects which has its own side effects. Then we try to treat those side effects with yet another medication. Like - am I depressed? Probably BUT is it really depression or is it because I no longer have any estrogen which causes depression, mood swings, insomnia, fatigue, weight gain etc. So why do I want another medication that causes suicidal thoughts and of course - mood swings, insomnia, fatigue, weight gain. I just try to tell myself I only have (hopefully) another 2 1/2 years on this and just need to deal the best I can. My biggest concerns now are when that time comes a) will they recommend I go longer b) will tumor come back now that there’s no meds so SHOULD I continue and c) will any of these side effects be permanent after that amount of time. (Again, and why are we depressed?)
