I'm new to site. Was diagnosed with PC last week. Had a 12 core transperinal Prostate Biopsy. Results was 3 out of 12 contained cancer. Waiting on my Gleason score within the next two weeks. My father had PC around my age which is 62. My PSA level has been increasing over the last 7 yrs but my past no longer urologist never felt like it was a concern. My recent PSA level was 9.1....my main concern is for the past two years before this diagnosis. I started having my right thigh going numb and feeling heavy... also hip pain. Been having pain in my right back/rib cage. Worried these symptoms are from going years before being diagnosed with PC. I've told my resent urologist about these issues but he doesn't think it's related. I've had several MRIs on my lower back and hip and didn't say anything about any tumors. Has anyone that has been diagnosed with PC have any of those issues with upper thigh numbness and tingling and heaviness. Hopefully it's not related. Going to get my results from pathology report July 7th. Look forward to any comments about this issue with resent PC diagnosis...

Very sorry for your recent diagnosis.

I would recommend that for the best conversation that you open your own brand new topic for you. A long thread like this tied to someone else, it is easy for things to get missed.

Your Gleason score as you know kind of kicks the ballgame off along with the biopsy results. With you other symptoms I would definitely imagine a PSMA-PET soon. You mentioned prior MRI’s, was one specifically done of the prostate MP-MRI that led to the biopsy? If so what were those results? Your symptoms could certainly be related, but your past MRI’s I assume of your back and hip showing nothing is assuring.

You can respond in the new thread, but copy your original post into your new thread to begin it.
