My trainer said most people breath incorrectly. She said the correct way is to breathe in with stomach protruding outwards. I tried it a few times and sort of got the hang of it, but to breathe automatically that way, would be something else. We agreed if I have the ascending aortic aneurysm surgery (not there yet), that my training lessons would include the correct breathing exercises.

My cardiologist's nurse practitioner has me wearing a Holter monitor yesterday when I was scheduled for a training session at the gym with my trainer. We are doing stretches and flexibility exercises (no planking, stomach crunches, or squatting). It will be interesting to see what the Holter monitor shows during that hour of training.
