I am 110 ibs and the shingles shot caused the same reaction. I also had severe edema developing in my legs due to the blisters opening. It led to a severe staph infection. Which made me borderline septic and started attacking my organs. I had the vaccine Nov 2025. Im still battling the staph infection and getting a second dose of kmersa infused monday. Its one time infusion that takes an hour and the antibiotic works over 16 days. Specifically on skin infections I started to see my weight climb from edema

@chendry I am afraid I don’t recall where I saw the article. I will make an attempt to find it for you. My rash is better now over 6 months old. I have had numerous blood tests and 2 biopsy’s to rule out skin cancer. My skin esp on my thighs and legs have taken a beating but slowly returning to normal. I have been using a combo of Vaseline coconut oil and olive oil to help the skin along. In the beginning copious amounts of Vaseline. I found it helped with the itch. I was also told to use some rather strong steroid creams all over but after a few weeks stopped. I think most of the skin damage was as a result of the steroid cream. At present the rash is not spreading, the sensitivity to even a gentle graze is less and the veins at the back of my hand can be seen. On the other side I have developed white circular blobs in various parts of my body similar to vitiligo. However the biopsy says not vitiligo. Saving grace on this score is that early on one appeared on my calf but now has gone. Hoping the others follow the same route. The blobs are painless. Not doing anything about them. Another thing is that I have lost hair. All from my arm pits and a good amount from my genital area. Also the hair on my head is thinning I know this cause at age 76 I was quite chuffed that I had a good head of hair and know my hair days are now numbered. I only put this down for info for others. On the net positive side though the rash has been a nuisance to put it lightly I have been fortunate ad if yet not to have had any pain.
