I've also acquired tinnitus in my right ear eight months into taking alendronate sodium. The tinnitus descriptions mentioned here are very much like what I am experiencing. However, I've noticed that if I'm perfectly still in a quiet room, the ringing is not as constant. I'll have moments of silence. The tinnitus has completely disrupted my sleep and has had a hugely adverse impact on my emotions.

I was wondering if the tinnitus has gotten any better for anyone after getting off of alendronate sodium? I'm looking for hope.
