Collagen for osteoporosis?

I've been using AlgaeCal Collagen for the past 4 months. I'm waiting for my next dexa to comment further. However, it is supposed to grow bone from within vs slow bone loss.

I would depend on clinical research conducted by reputable research teams who are not connected in any way to the product that they are researching.

Not to "upset the apple cart" but I've read/heard that Algaecal contains Strontium that shows up as greater bone density in the DEXA scan than really is. Food for thought?
