Hi @danab

Thanks for inquiring. Yes we are still in Arizona. My husband had a dual transplant in May and is coming along slowly but surely. The journey has certainly been one day at a time, most days are good though. I’m feeling helpless when the bad days comes, but know that getting rest and trying to stay hydrated and constantly asking “how do you feel” questions helps me to supply his needs. The weather is getting around 100 these days. Being patience is another big one for me too. I’m learning to wait on him when he’s ready. I’ve joined the caregiver group also. That might help me too.
Take Care!

@pjw51 Well congrats on the successfully Transplants, And welcome to our exclusive club of awesome Heart transplant Caregivers. My wife was also mine and She did great also. But now I'm 7 years out and my wife went thru a bad Hip replacement and I'm now in caregiver mode. so I can relate a bit to both sides. Stay Cool fall will come someday Lol which is usually around October it gets cooler.
