Hi @pjw51 just stopping by to see how it's going with your heart transplant journey with your Husband. Are you still here in Arizona? It's sure getting hot so I hope your staying cool and things are progressing. Let me know if I can help with any questions. Say hi to the team there at mayo for me. I still look forward to seeing them when I visit every year for my check-ups.

Hi @danab

Thanks for inquiring. Yes we are still in Arizona. My husband had a dual transplant in May and is coming along slowly but surely. The journey has certainly been one day at a time, most days are good though. I’m feeling helpless when the bad days comes, but know that getting rest and trying to stay hydrated and constantly asking “how do you feel” questions helps me to supply his needs. The weather is getting around 100 these days. Being patience is another big one for me too. I’m learning to wait on him when he’s ready. I’ve joined the caregiver group also. That might help me too.
