78 here and live my bhrt.
Can I suggest that you talk to you provider before you cut your patches in half. When I started back on the patch I had breast tenderness for 4-5 days until it subsided. Do you also take progesterone and testosterone?

@gravity3 No, I don't take progesterone or testosterone. I read on line that it could take a few weeks or 2-3 months or longer for the discomfort to subside. Glad you had a good experience. I don't want to stop it because of the osteo, and will try cutting it in 1/2 to see if that will help. I'll bring it up at my next appt in Aug.
