@nme1985 I had my Dexa with a overall 17% increase. My nurse practitioner/"bone specialist" was shocked, told me had he bet on me, he would have lost. My hormone specialist does not want me to use the Tymlos that is recommended by the "bone specialist". She says they have had an 80 yo with osteoporosis completely reverse it with the BHRT treatment. I am still a -4.3 in my low back, but I was -5.4. my right hip is at the osteopenia range now, but left hip is still a little lower than that. I was happy with the results. I will redo blood work in 3 months for CTX scores. Continuing walking, tai chi, resistance training and other weight bearing exercise, trying to keep my protein intake up and continue my vitamins and supplements. I did ask for a referral for osteoporosis PT/OT to make sure I am doing exercises correctly. The sad thing is, I had a hard time getting him to write the script for it! Still haven't heard back from them to schedule my first appointment. I feel like getting healthy is a full time job!
