I had my gallbladder removed in my 50s. Every surgery has risks, but mine went very smoothly.

I had a bad gallbladder attack, went to the ER, and they were concerned the symptoms were heart-related and did not mention gallbladder. Within a month, had another gallbladder attack, saw my primary, and he scheduled surgery. The gallbladder had stones.

@roch My mom had hers out at 50 too. She never had any issues with any food. I didnt realize so many people have trouble afterwards.
He has had several attacks. They didnt see stones, Hida scan is next looking for sludge.. Thats what my mom had,
